Booked a reservation to rent a paddleboard, which required an advance payment. Showed up at the reserved date and time, only to find they were closed due to "bad weather" (75 degrees and sunny, no wind). Received no notification they would be closed beforehand, nor was there any indication listed online. While walking back out to the parking lot, ran into two others who also had a reservation at the same time and didn't know the center was closed that day, so obviously not an isolated issue. Called the center twice and left a voicemail asking about receiving a refund or rescheduling the reservation and received no response.

Excellent Adult Learn to Row program! I just completed their Adult Learn to Row program (twice/week for 4 weeks). We learned proper technique for both erg rowing and in the boat. We were coached by Jon Harttrup, along with several members who helped him every week; they were all great teachers, who instructed clearly, encouraged us, and let us figure things out on our own as the weeks progressed. While still new to rowing, I feel very comfortable moving into intermediate rowing!

Hi! I donβt think a lot of people realize the main purpose of the Renton rowing center is not to rent out kayaks and such- (though they do do such, and well) but is actually to function as a rowing club under the Pocock rowing foundation. If youβre looking to try out the sport of rowing, I know of no better place than here. They have summer camps, learn to row classes, youth athlete programs for highschool and middle schoolers, and even an adult League.. The people here are amazingly welcoming and will push you to do your best on all fronts. The lake is beautiful and this place has taught me more than most of my schooling has. (THOUGH AGAIN. We do rent out kayaks and other watercraft. Just try out rowing if youβve ever wanted to, itβs pretty fun)

I discovered this place this morning, and I'm glad I did. Beautiful little pier dock thing in a great location for wildlife photography. I saw plenty and took hundreds of photos, and I hope to make it back this fall. It should be awesome.
